RESEARCH INTERESTS:
His research fellowship at Stanford primarily focused on mitral
valve and ventricular mechanics, post-infarction remodeling, and
chronic ischemic mitral regurgitation.
Other research topics included transmural myocardial
strain analysis and aortic root dynamics.
Publications:
* 35 peer review articles
* 49 abstracts, poster, and presentations in international
meetings
* 8 manuscript reviews for the Journal of Thoracic and
Cardiovascular Surgery and the Journal of Heart Valve Disease
His interests include
coronary artery bypass and redo-bypass surgery, aortic and
mitral valve repair, minimally invasive thoracic and cardiac
surgery, and percutaneous valve placement.
